Who is Sarah Parker Remond? Ask the Carlton Innovation School Students

Carlton Innovation School scholars , under the direction of art educator Katherine Bouffard, engaged in a research project regarding the namesake of their soon-to-be new school, the Sarah Parker Remond School.
Each student was tasked to find three significant facts about Ms. Remond and, as importantly, they learned to identify safe and trusted web sites and reputable sources; how to paraphrase their information; and to properly cite each source.
On Tuesday, May 26, Carlton students presented their research and slideshow to the Salem School Committee, which was met with emphatic approval.
