Lauren Weaver

Principal

Lauren has worked for Salem Public Schools for 10+ years. She began her career in 2012 at Collins Middle School.  She spent a year as a Title I Tutor, and then moved into her role as a 6th grade ELA teacher.  In 2017 she became the Literacy Coach at CMS, and then transitioned to her role as Assistant Principal of Carlton in 2019. Mrs. Weaver worked with other district leaders and colleagues in order to create standards-based grading and practices within Salem Public Schools. She believes that meaningful, authentic relationships with students will create an environment in which everyone is prepared to learn academically, and socially.
